Puppies 8 weeks - 4 months
Puppy Classes are elementary. This is where they begin to learn how to coexist with people and our very different ways :)
We address potty training & puppy biting, along with the fundamentals of basic obedience such as siting, laying down, coming when called and acclimating to walking on leash. Followed by the most important aspects that will carry on throughout your dog's life - socializing, focus excercises and resource guarding prevention.

The Basics - For Dogs of all ages:

Therapy Dog Training
We successfully train dogs to become Therapy Dogs - the dogs who visit the elderly in nursing facilities and assisted living homes, children's services such as reading assistance programs, etc.
Therapy Dogs are not Service Dogs and do not have the same priviledges.
If you want your dog to become a certified Therapy Dog you must choose the organization such as TDI, Pet Partners, Love On A Leash, etc., so that we may follow the training requirements of that organization.

Service Dog Training
Service Dog Training is serious business as these dogs will be assisting their handlers for whatever task is required. Some Service Dogs must provide physical assistance and others emotional support for individuals with PTSD and other emotional disabilities.
The extent of the training is dependent upon the individuals needs.
Puppy Board & Train
Puppies up to 5 months old stay in my home and learn how to socialize with other dogs & people, plus potty training and elementary basic obedience.
Reactivity - Aggression - Fear
Our methods are positive & motivational behaviors. The majority of these behaviors are manifested from fear. We use classical conditioning, counter conditioning & desensitization methods - and never utilize chokes, prongs or shock collars.
